First, start by sprinkling the baking soda generously all over the stain. Try to mist the stain with hot water lightly – you can use a spray bottle or a spoon. Then, this mixture needs to stay like this for a while so that it can be absorbed into the fabrics of the carpet. You can let it do its magic for about 3 hours. If you can let it sit for longer – even better! For example, do that before you go to sleep, and let it sit until the morning.

Greasy stains
